CAIRP Launches Web 3.0
CAIRP is taking its communications up-market, in order to enhance the professional recognition of the Association and our Members. Upgrading the appearance of our BULLETINS was the first stage. Now, welcome to Web 3.0.
As you can see from the header of this BULLETIN, the redesigned Website displays the symbols that differentiate CAIRP and our members--green and blue colours and Rebuilding Success tagline. The English/French Splash Page underlines CAIRP’s status as a bilingual association with Members from across Canada.
Web 3.0 will present the profession as the financial healers of choice for both individuals and enterprises. CAIRP’s Mission, Vision and Values will be prominently displayed on the Home Page.
The site will have a more stylish look, valuable new features and easier navigation. Its address (http://www.cairp.ca/) will be the preferred destination for both members and non-members seeking information on insolvency and restructuring.
The site has been designed by Palomino System Innovations Inc., in conjunction with the CAIRP Website Redevelopment Committee. It will roll out its exciting new features in stages in the coming weeks.
Here are some of those features:
Your profile online!
Members gain the simplicity of one User I.D./ one password, which allows access to their profile to update co-ordinates, register for events and access information about their committees. To log in, enter your business email [john.smith@smithcompany.ca] as User I.D. and your first initial plus last name [JSmith] as your password.
Find a CIRP!
The public can search for a Member by firm, city or province; a search will return full contact co-ordinates for the CIRPs.
Join the discussion!
In the near future, the site will launch a Members-only Discussion Forum where you can network with other CIRPs and easily search the archive for previous posts.
Greater functionality!
- The site will soon be e-commerce enabled (thanks to our new AMSoft database from Minasu Information Systems Ltd.). Both Members and non-members will be able to register, and pay, online for CAIRP events. By partnering with Moneris Solutions, we assure secure payments.
- An improved Search function gives easier access to documents, and retrieves them in a printer-friendly format.
- Users can instantly toggle back and forth between English and French pages.
- In the near future, CareerSite will become a proprietary Job Board, giving better data to potential advertisers.
Improved event notice!
Check the What's New? section on the Home Page, which links directly to the redesigned Continuing Education pages for full details. Register online and receive receipts and confirmation immediately.
Outreach to other insolvency stakeholders!
Non-members can sign up for their choice of CAIRP’s communications, including Chair’s Newsletter, Rebuilding Success magazine, the Annual Report, BULLETINS and event notices. They will also be able to raise insolvency and restructuring issues on a separate non-member Discussion Forum.
CAIRP wishes to thank the Website Redevelopment Committee for its contribution to the redesign. The Committee, chaired by Kevin Brennan, included Joe Albert, Phil Clarke, Vanessa Grant, Jennifer Kelly, Julie Mortreux, Dean Prentice, and Norm Kondo.■
