2008 Web Forum Online Course Subscriptions
Notice of Expiry of Captus Accounts for Members

The CAIRP Web Forum, a successful trio of online courses, has been available to all members since August 2008. As members will recall, Module 1 launched that summer, Module 2 followed in October 2008 and Module 3 followed in January 2009. Each member paid a one-time special levy to have access to this e-learning product, which was a new and innovative project for our Association.
While the initial subscription period was visualized as one calendar year, CAIRP has extended the time period once already in order to give members additional access to the courses in order to familiarize themselves with the amendments to the Act, which did not come into force until September 2009.
General Members
The first group of subscribers were the general members, who were granted access in August 2008.
We wish to notify general members that subscriptions to the Web Forum will expire on April 15, 2010
, after which time members may contact Captus directly to extend their access for an additional year. The fee to extend access is $30.00 until April 30, 2010, which is still a considerable value in that the entire course is offered to the public at a fee of $398 for all 3 modules. If a member chooses not to their access by April 30, 2010, but wishes to do so at a later date, the full course fee of $398.00 will apply. Therefore members are encouraged to renew prior to the expiration date. Instructions on how to extend a subscription will be placed on the CAIRP website under “Continuing Education & Development”.
NIQP Students
The expiry date for the subscriptions of current NIQP candidates will vary, based on when they paid their special levy.
►For NIQP candidates who enrolled between August 2008 and March 31, 2009, their accounts will expire on April 15, 2010 but may be extended for an additional year, for the low fee of $30.00 (until April 30, 2010).
►For NIQP candidates who enrolled last Spring/Summer, between April 1, 2009 and August 31, 2009, subscriptions will be valid until August 31, 2010.
►For candidates who enrolled last Fall, between September 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009, subscriptions will be valid until December 31, 2010.
